Ittefaq journalist’s daughter killed in road crash

The daughter of a senior journalist was killed when a microbus of a shooting house hit her in the capital’s Uttara on Tuesday morning. 

The deceased was identified as Faija Tahsina Suchi, 10, student of class five of Milestone School, daughter of Assistant Editor of Daily Ittefaq Faijul Islam.  

Burjahan, Sub Inspector of Turag Police Station, said the accident took place in front of the 10 no bridge of Rajuk Uttara Apartment Project.

Later injured Faija was sent to Bangladesh Medical and Hospital whole the on-duty doctor declared her dead. 

Local people seized the microbus while the passengers and the driver managed to flee away, the police official said.
