Cumilla accident: Govt announces Tk 1 lakh for dead

The government has announced a compensation of Tk 1 lakh to each family of those killed in Cumilla road accident and Tk 50,000 for the injured.
State Minister for the Labour and Employment Monnuzan Sufian on Saturday announced this, according to a press release sent by the ministry.
At least 13 workers were killed and 5 others injured when a coal-laden truck overturned on a makeshift shed at a brick kiln in Cumilla when the workers were still sleeping in early morning of Friday.
