6th phase UP polls: AL nominates 726 aspirants

The ruling party Awami League (AL) announced 726 party’s candidates for the sixth phase Union Parisad polls.

AL Joint General Secretary Mahbub-Ul-Alam Hanif on Saturday announced the names of the nominated chairmen candidates from the party chief’s political office at Dhanmondi.

Hanif sounded a note of warning against those who will take part in the election ignoring the decision of AL as well as act against the AL nominated candidates.

The sixth phase of Union Parishad elections will be held across the country on June 4.
