Biswa Ijtema to begin in Feb as two factions come to a decision
The Biswa Ijtema is scheduled to be held in February as the two factions of Tabligh have come to a decision on the matter.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal came up with the remarks while talking to the reporters following a meeting with the two factions of Tabligh at his secretariat office on Wednesday.
The minister also said it was decided that the Bishwa Ijtema would be held in February. The two rivals will jointly organize the congregation.
“The timing of this years’ Ijtema will be fixed in another meeting tomorrow (Thursday) at Religious Affairs ministry,” he added.
Responding to a question from a journalist, the minister said that a decision was made that Maulana Saad of India would not join Ijtema this time.
