No wages, if workers don’t work from tomorrow: BGMEA
The president of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Siddiqur Rahman has said they will not give the wages if the workers don’t return to their workplaces from tomorrow (Monday).
Rahman said this on Sunday while briefing to the journalists following the movement of the garment workers demanding wage hike.
“Go back to your workplaces and take part in the production work,” the president of BGMEA urged the workers.

He said there is no rationality to do the movement demanding the wage hike as a committee formed by the government is working to resolve the matter.
Rahman said we will implement the decision of factory closing from tomorrow, if they (workers) don’t accept the decision which will be taken today.
