Revised ICT Act to place at cabinet after PM direction

Law minister advocate Anisul Huq has said the revised International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Act has been sent to place at the cabinet for the trail of Jamaat-e-Islami after getting the direction of Prime Minister.

In a reply to a question of a journalist, the newly appointed minister said this on Wednesday at his reception programme organized by the legislative and parliament affairs department at the law ministry. 

We sent a revised ICT Act to cabinet division but it was sent back to amend further, he said. 

Besides, a commission will be formed to identify those who were behind the killing of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

It is mentionable that, Anisul Huq swore in as law minister for the second term on Monday.
