VNSC students take to streets

The Viquarunnisa Noon School and College students have taken to the streets today demanding the removal of its principal Nazneen Ferdous over the death of a 9th grader in Dhaka who hanged herself after being rebuked by her teachers.

Earlier on Tuesday, the education ministry formed a three-member probe committee led by Professor Mohammad Yusuf, director of Dhaka Regional Education office, to investigate the suicide incident.

Two other members of the committee are deputy director Shakhawat Hossain of Dhaka Regional Education office and Dhaka district education officer Benzir Ahmed.

The committee has been asked to submit report within three-day.
