3 killed over land dispute in Lalmonirhat

Three people were killed and two others injured in a clash over a land dispute in Lalmonirhat on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place at Taluk Haridas village of Sarpukur union in Aditmari upazila of the district around 7am.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Jalil Miah, 55, Golam Rabbani, 40 and Sahidar Rahman, 50.
Local people said, Abdul Jalil Miah locked into a clash when Abdul Khaled and his cohorts went to occupy a land. At this time two people were killed on the spot.
Later another injured person died on the way to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital.
Confirming the matter to Jago News, Masud Rana, officer-in-charge of Aditmari Police Station, said he is on the spot.
