Hajj flight schedule announced

The ministry of Religions Affairs announced the schedule of flights for Hajj pilgrims on government package Tuesday. The first flight will off to Saudi Arabia from Shahjalal International Airport with some 819 pilgrims on August 16 at 8.35 AM.

The last flight for this year’s Hajj on government package will depart on August 17 at 10AM with 20 VIP pilgrims.

The return flights to Dhaka are scheduled to fly from September 28 to October 7, said sources from the ministry.

A total of 2500 pilgrims will go for Hajj this year under government package, of whom 1,124 are under package A, and 1,230 are under package B. The rest are VIPs and members of medical team.
