1 held with 8000 Yaba pills in Ctg

Police have seized 8,000 pieces of yaba pills after searching a private car from Amirabad area under Lohagara upazila in Chittagong around 12:30 pm on Monday.

At that time police confiscated the private car and detained its driver.

Md. Shahjahan, officer-in-charge of Lohagara police station said the yaba pills were concealed under the driving seat of the car which heading for Chittagong from Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar.

A case was filed under narcotics act in this connection.
