Michigan Bengals to organize annual Gala Nov 4

After completion three successful sports events, Michigan Bengals (MB) is going to hold their ‘GALA’ and Award ceremony on November 4, 2018 at Wylie E. Groves High School, Beverly Hills, Michigan. 

They are organizing this event for the Award Ceremony for Michigan Bengals (MB) members who delivered an extraordinary performance in sports as well as community services in 2018. 

This event will also include cultural program and annual dinner for MB members, associate Teams, and guests. They are expecting over 300 professional families from greater metro Detroit Bangladeshi American Community. Registration is open, RSVP by October 26 to confirm seat in GALA. 

First ever Michigan Bengals Cup Cricket and Tournament was takes place on May 6, 2018 at Troy Civic Center, Michigan and Volleyball Tournament on September 16 at Millennium Park, Northville, Michigan. Program is sponsored by Mridha foundation.  

Six teams and more than hundred cricketers representing various areas in the Greater Detroit Area highlighted it. Same in Volleyball tournament five teams with more than fifty players. Beside these two tournaments Michigan Bengals Organized summer youth soccer camp where more than thirty boys and girls from Michigan Bangladeshi community joined and practicing soccer. Most interesting fact is in both tournaments and soccer camp all participants are Bangladeshi American.  

In Gala, there is a nice lineup in cultural program. Classic Indian singer Laxmi preethi will perform in the program, beside her Shimul Yousuf, Suravi Banik, Zara Anwar, Amita Mridha, Eamy’s Dance group, MAruf-Raadia, Rossi-Sharmin will perform in the program. Lunch buffet will start from 3pm, Cultural program stars on 5pm. 

Led by the Executive Team of Saif Siddique, Rossi Mir, Kawshik Ahmed, Hasan Khan, Rahat Khan, Amin Sharfuzzaman (Pulak) and the captains of all associate teams, vision has always been to provide Bangladeshis with an opportunity to come together as a community through the games. 

Michigan Bengals is a non-profit organization mostly managed and run by young and energetic automotive engineers who organizes sporting events, free sports camps for kids, promotes cultural diversity by organizing programs and serves under privileged people in the community throughout Detroit metropolitan area.
