SIM re-registration time extended to May 31

The government has extended the time to complete re-registration of their SIM cards to May 31.
The time was extended for those who are yet to complete registration their SIM through the biometric process.
State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Tarana Halim confirmed this at a press briefing on Saturday.
Apart from unregistered SIM cards will also be blocked for a period of 3 hours every day till May 30 until re-registration, she also added.
It is mentionable that, April 30 was the deadline for biometric SIM re-registration.
