National Fan Factory explosion kills 2 in Tongi

At least two people were killed and 20 others injured in an explosion of heat chamber at National Fan Factory in Tongi BSIC Industrial area on Tuesday.
The deceased are Saiful Islam, 18 and Shamsul Haque, 20.
Identities of the injured people could not be known immediately.
Worker Rahim said, the heat chamber of the factory exploded around 11:30am that killed two people and burnt 20 others.
The injured were sent to Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Hospital.
Ashikur Rahman, Tongi fire service station officer, said on information, two units of the fire station rushed to the spot and took the situation under control within 1 hour.
