Mustafiz is a national hero: PM

Terming the bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman as a national hero, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina appreciated his outstanding performance in Indian Premier League (IPL), a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India.

Prime Minister admired Mustafiz at a meeting of ECNEC which was held in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Tuesday, said Planning Minister A. H. M. Mustofa Kamal, former president of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

Prime Minister said we feel very proud for cricketer Mustafizur Rahman. He has taken the Bangladesh to a new horizon, Kamal added.

Planning Minister said, Mustafiz is now a number one bowler among the world. He is introduced as a dashing bowler around the world.
