2 held over RU teacher killing

Two youths were detained over the killing of Rajshahi University’s teacher Rezaul Karim Seddik.

Law enforcers arrested them from the deceased’s village of Talgharia and Khajapara under Baghmara upazila in Rajshahi.

Earlier, police detained one Hafizur Rahman second year student of Public administration department at Rajshahi University. In this connection, so far three people were arrested.

In this connection, RMP commissioner Md.Shamsuddin said, Professor Rezaul Karim Seddik established a music school in his village.

But the Imam of the mosque of Rezaul Karim’s village Raihan Ali didn’t like Music. During that time he opposed to the music school.

For this reason police detained Raihan Ali and he has been brought to Dhaka for interrogation.

Police held Munsur Rahman(48) a Madrasha teacher of Khajapara Village, Who is  suspected over the killing of Rajshahi University’s teacher Rezaul Karim Seddik.

Both of them are being interrogated in detective branch (DB) office.
