13,750 to appear for 39th special BCS viva voce interviews

Public Service Commission (PSC) on Thursday published the results of the 39th (special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary test with 13,750 candidates coming out successful.

Of them, a total 13, 219 candidates have come out successful for assistant surgeon post while 531 candidates for assistant dental surgeon post said a press release of BPSC. 

The results can be viewed on the PSC website (www.bpsc.gov.bd) or via short message service (SMS) on Teletalk mobile operator service. 

For SMS notification of the result, a candidate will have to type “PSC39Registration number” and send it to 16222.

A total of 39,954 aspirants took part in the test on August 3 last.

The 39th (special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) is for recruitment to the position of 4,542 doctors and 250 dental surgeons. 

The test comprises of 200 marks of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and 100 marks of viva-voce.
