1 held with 3.5kg gold at Dhaka Airport

One person has been held with 3.5 kg gold from Toys and weighing machines at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday morning.

The detained passenger is identified as Habibur Rahman.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhaka Customs House Reyadul Islam told Jago News that On Monday morning Habibur Rahman arrived at Dhaka by Dubai Emirate Airlines flight EK 582 from Dubai.

The custom authority seized 3.5kg gold from his possession.

He also said the price of gold an estimated half crore.

He added that, a case will be filed in this connection. After finishing all the formalities recovered gold’s will send to Bangladesh Bank Volt.
