Vicious circles circulate false news in PM’s name: PMO

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) today said some vicious circles were circulating false news in the name of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina against the backdrop of tender age students’ movement for safe road, BSS reported.

“Some vicious circles are publishing various distorted, false and fabricated news intentionally in the name of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through different news portals,” read the statement issued by the PMO Press Wing.

It found that the reports were being publicized especially through the social networks “to mislead the countrymen including the tender-hearted students staging movement for safe road”.

The statement, signed by premier’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim, called upon the countrymen including students not to be misguided by these false and fabricated reports “having no base”.

“The people are being urged not to be misguided in these false news,” the statement read.
