UP polls: third phase begins Saturday

Elections to 620 union parishads in the third phase would be held on Saturday.The voting will continue from 8am-4pm without any break.

Total 14 political parties have fielded candidates in the third phase of union parishads polls. The Awami League has thrown in 620 chairman candidates, the BNP 539, and the Jatiya Party 167.

RAB, police, BGB and Ansar has been deployed in the election areas and stern security measures are taken to prevent any untoward incident.
