Air Chief adorned with Air Chief Marshal rank badge

Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat was adorned with the new rank badge of Air Chief Marshal in thepresence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban here on Monay afternoon, reports BSS.

“Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed adorned the air chief with the rank badge of Air Chief Marshal,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told reporters.

After the function, he said, the premier congratulated the new air chief by presenting a bouquet and wished his success. The Air Chief also greeted the Prime Minister by presenting a bouquet.

Prime Minister’s Security Affairs Advisor Major General (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique, Principal Secretary Md Nojibur Rahman, Defence Secretary Akhtar Hossain Bhuiyan, PM’s Military Secretary Major General Mia Mohammad Zainul Abedin and PMO Secretary Sajjadul Hasan were, among others, present.

Masihuzzaman Serniabat has been appointed as the Chief of Air Staff for a three-year tenure from June 12.
