The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Sunday claimed to have busted an arms-making factory in Moheshkhali of Cox’s Bazar and detained two workers with components and equipment for making firearms.
Acting on a tip-off, a Rab team raided the hilly area of Kalarmarchhar and detained suspect Abdul Hakim, 38 and Shahidulla, 31, along with 20 firearms, a huge cache of ammunition and other equipment.
Commander Major Mehedi Hassan of Rab-7 camp in Cox’s Bazar confirmed the matter to Jago News.
