Cop microbus gas-cylinder blast kills 3 in Tangail

Three passengers of a microbus were killed and four others, including three policemen, injured as its gas-cylinder exploded at Kumudini College intersection in Tangail early Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Jannatul Ferdous Bonna, 19, her brother Faruk 40 and her uncle Mirajul Islam, 60.
Tangail Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Rezaur Rahman said: “A team of police from Tangail went to Rajshahi to rescue an abducted girl along with her family members.
As they were returning in the microbus, its gas-cylinder exploded in the area, leaving the three dead on the spot and four others injured, the OC said.
The injured people- a Sub Inspector, a constable and driver of the microbus- were admitted to Tangail 250-bed General Hospital.
