Strike at Ctg pvt hospitals withdrawn

Indefinite strike at private clinics, hospitals and diagnostic centres in Chittagong was withdrawn on Monday.

Confirmg the matter, Private Hospital and Diagnosis Owner’s Association General Secretary Dr Liakat Ali, said they withdrew the strike temporarily considering the sufferings of patients and the situation.

Earlier, on Sunday noon, the owners of private hospitals and clinics in Chittagong called an indefinite strike protesting at a mobile court drive in the city’s two private hospitals that caused sufferings to service seekers. 

The drive was conducted jointly by Rapid Action Battalion-7, Directorate General of Drug Administration and Directorate General of Health Services.
