The decision was taken on Sunday at the first meeting of the quota reform committee with its convenor Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam in the chair. The meeting was held at the cabinet division this morning.

The meeting discussed the committee’s working strategy regarding quota reform system, Joint Secretary of the Public Administration Ministry Abul Quashem told journalists.

The government formed the committee on July 2 to review/reform/revoke the existing quota system in public service. The committee has been asked to submit its report within 15 working days.
