Rangpur road crash kills 12

At least twelve people have been killed and fifty more others injured in a head-on collision between two passengers buses.

The incident took place at Ekorchali Borati Bridge area on Rangpur-Dinajpur highway of Taraganj upazila in Rangpur around 11am on Wednesday.

The identities of the deceased’s could not be known immediately.

Hearing the news Rangpur Fire Brigade rushed to the spot.

Later they admitted the injured men to Rangpur Upazila Health Complex and Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

The death toll may be increased in the incident, said Station officer of Rangpur Fire Brigade Mohidul Islam.

Rangpur Police Superintendent Abdur Razzak told that, police man are trying to recover the victim.
