Youth killed in Dhaka road accident

A youth was killed when a pickup van hit him at Rayerbag in the capital on Thursday morning.
The deceased Manik, 22, son of Abbas Ali, was a bus helper.
No one was detained in this connection.
Quoting Jatrabari Police Station, Sub Inspector of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police camp Bachchu Miah, said: “A pickup van hit Manik when he was crossing the road at Rayerbag, leaving him injured critically. Later he was admitted to DMCH where the doctors declared him dead.”
The body was kept at DMCH for autopsy, he added.
