Lt Gen Aziz Ahmed made next Army chief

The Bangladesh Army’s quartermaster General, Lieutenant General Aziz Ahmed has been appointed as the new Chief of Bangladesh Army, a gazette issued by the ministry of Defense said.
The order of appointment will be effective from June 25 next.
He will be replacing Gen Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq whose prevailing term as the chief of army will end on June 24.
The Ministry of defense issued the gazette on Monday.
