Body of female ‘drug trafficker’ recovered in Mymensingh

Police have recovered a body of a female ‘drug trafficker’ from Gondropa area of Mymensingh Sadar upazila.
Members of the law enforcers claimed she has been killed by her rival group.
The deceased was identified as Rehana Akhter, 38, hailing from city’s Sankipara area.
This is the first time, a woman was killed since the crackdown against drug began.
Ashiqur Rahman, officer-in-charge of district’s DB police, said the body of the deceased has been recovered from the spot early today after hearing the news from locals. Later, the dead body was sent to Mymensing Medical college Hospital.
