Cop held for selling Yaba in M’singh

Detective Branch of police arrested a police constable for allegedly selling off seized yaba pills to an alleged drug dealer in Mymensingh Court area on Saturday night.

The detainee, Al Amin was posted with Chief Judicial Magistrate Court of Mymensingh, police said. 

Additional Police Super SA Newazi said that earlier on Friday, detectives arrested “drug dealer” Abdul Motaleb with 12,000 yaba pills from town’s Uttara residential area.

In his statement, Motaleb said Al Amin sold him yaba pills which were seized during drives and were kept with a court as evidence, said SA Newazi.

Detectives then arrested AL Amin from the court area and sent to Mymensingh central prison, he added.
