Mother, son crushed under train

A woman and her eight-year- old son were crushed under the wheels of a train at Kawtoli rail bridge area of Brahmanbaria municipality on Monday at 10 am.

The victims were identified as Rina Begum, 35, and her son Zilani, 8, a resident of Kasba upazila.

Confirming the news Md.Salauddin, Sub Inspector (SI) of Brahmanbaria railway Police Station said a train hit the mother and son at Kawtoli rail bridge area in the morning, leaving them dead on the spot.

Police recovered the bodies around 11:45am and sent those to Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
