Bangladeshi shot dead by BSF

Bangladeshi cattle trader was gunned down by the members of Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) at Mollar Char border point under Roumari upazila in Kurigram.

The dead man is Monser Ali Shah, son of late Sorman Ali of Bamoner Char area.

BSF officials opened fire on the cattle traders when they tried to intrude into Indian Territory to bring cattle around 8pm Sunday, killing Monser on the spot.

Monser’s body has been sent to Kurigram Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Officer-in-charge of Roumari Police Station ABM Sajedul Islam confirmed the incident.
