7 detained with 36,000 Yaba pills in Dhaka

Detectives in separate drives detained seven people from different parts in Dhaka on Monday afternoon. 

They also recovered 36 thousand pieces of Yaba from their possession and seized a mini truck.

Two case were filled against them, said Assistant Deputy Commissioner Md. Shahjahan.

In Jatrabari, detectives conducted a drive and detained four people from a prayer space of Metro CNG drain station beside the Dhaka-Mawa road.

The detainees are Shahidullah, 30, Swapon Dutta, 32, Md. Mahbur Sarder, 30, and Mahmud Hossain, 30.

A total of 28 thousand pieces of Yaba were recovered from their possession.

Apart from, detectives in a drive detained three people from Shanir Akhra Bridge with 8 thousand pieces of Yaba.

They are Md. Ismail Hossain, 47, Md. Kala Hasan, 45, and Md. Barkot Ali, 35.
