Measures taken to standardize service at police stations: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Mohammad Javed Patwary said here today they have taken effective measures to standardize services of the force at police stations, reports BSS.

“We are committed to make police as a pro-people force and changes are being brought in it after taking into consideration the changing trend of society and expectation of the people,” he said as the chief guest at a five-day training program titled ‘Innovation in Public Service’ at Police Staff College (PSC), Mirpur here.

“The training program has been arranged to make the police services easier and quicker and we are relentlessly working to reach police services to doorsteps using information communication technology, “he also said.

PSC Rector (Additional IGP) Dr M Sadikur Rahman presided over the function. Among others, Additional IGP (HRM) Md Mohsin Hossain and Director General (DG) of Governance Innovation Unit of the Prime Minister Office (PMO) were present on the occasion.
