Tk 3 lakh and 40 thousand crore set for upcoming budget

The national budget size has been set Tk 3 lakh and 40 thousand crore for the next 2016-17 fiscal year, Finance Ministry official concerned informed.

The size of the Annual Development Programme (ADP) has been fixed Tk 1 lakh 10 thousand crore, decreasing Tk 10 thousand crore from the target of national budget, it is learnt.

It was being heard for last few days that the government is likely to come up with Tk 1 lakh 20 thousand 264 crore ADP in budget for the next fiscal year (2016-2017).

Even it was the size of proposed ADB according to five-year plan. But it is being decreasing by Tk 10 thousand and 264 crore.
