2 killed in Natore road accident

At least two people have been killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between two pickup vans on Dhaka-Rajshahi highway in Natore sadar upazila.

The road accident took place in PTI Mour area under the upazila on Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Khalilur Rahman, 40, and Sham Pada, 35. They both are from Boraigram of the district.

Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Natore Sadar Police Station, said a pickup van from Rajshahi collided head-on another pickup van at PTI More, leaving two dead on the spot and four injured.

OC said the injured were immediately taken to local hospital.
