Drug trafficker killed in ‘shootout’ in Tejgaon

Members of security elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have killed a drug dealer in a gun battle in the capital’s Tejgaon in the wee hours of Friday.
The deceased was identified as Kamrul.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-2 conducted a drive in the area where drug dealers operated, and after coming under fire engaged in ‘gunfight’.
RAB also recovered arms, bullets and a huge amount of yaba from the spot.
RAB confirmed the matter through a Short Message Service (SMS).
