‘Bangladesh to be a middle income country within 2019’

Bangladesh will be a middle income country within 2019 if all projects taken by the government are implemented said Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu.

He said this while speaking at a free distribution program of seeds, fertilizer and other elements in Jhalokati Upazila Parishad on Saturday noon.

Amu said ‘per capita income in Bangladesh will rise to $3,000 after construction of Padma Bridge and Payra Sea Port’.

Jhalokati Upazila Parishad Chairman Md Sultan Hossain Khan was the chair in this program.

The program was attended among others by District Commissioner Md Mizanul Haq Chowdhury and Police Superintendent Suvash Chandro Saha.
