7 policemen hurt in bus-pickup van collision in Ctg

Seven policemen were injured in a road accident in front of the Faujdarhat Cadet College at Sitakunda upazila in Chattogram on Monday morning.
The injured policemen are Sarwar, Mahsin, Shamim, Delwar, Momin, Mahbub, Priyo Chakma.
They were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), said Alauddin, Assistant Sub Inspector of CMCH police outpost.
He said, a bus of Shyamoli Paribahan hit a pickup van carrying the policemen when they were returning from their respective duties to take rest to Halishahr Police Line.
At that time seven policemen, who came from Bandarban to perform their duties to control traffic-jam on Dhaka-Chattogram highway, were injured. Of them two were in critical condition, he added.
