4 ‘JMB-militants’ detained in Rajshahi, C’nawabganj

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) have detained four members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) in two separate drives in Rajshahi and C’nawabganj on Monday.

The identities of detainees couldn’t be known immediately.

Confirming the news, RAB-5 deputy director Major AM Ashraful Islam said that on information, Rab-5 members conducted two separate drives at Belpukur Thana area in Rasjshahi and Sadar Thana area in C’nawabganj while detained four members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) along with religiously inciting books, leaflets and diary.

Further details about the drives will be disclosed later, he added.
