2 Mymensingh blast victims die at DMCH
Two students of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) injured in the cylinder blast at Masterbari in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh on March 25 died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Friday.
The two deceased, Hafizur Rahman Hafiz and Dipto Sarker succumbed to their injuries at the DMCH burn unit around 1am and 9:40am respectively, said sub-inspector Bachchu Mia of DMCH police camp, reports UNB.
With this, the death toll from the incident rose to four.
Earlier on Wednesday, Shahin, a final year student of KUET, succumbed to his injuries at the burn unit of the hospital around 12:30am.
Md Towhidul Islam, 23, a final year student of KUET, was killed and three others, including Hafiz, received burn injuries in an explosion in a six-storey building at Masterbari in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh on March 25.
The injured were sent to the DMCH burn unit.
A case was filed against building owner Abdur Razzak.
