Shafiqur captured for cheque cheat

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has captured Rajuk project director S M Shafiqur Rahman in a cheque cheat case.

S M Rafiqul Islam, who has been working as an ACC deputy director, captured him from Segunbagicha area in the capital around 12pm on Monday.

A businessperson named Ferdous Kabir was filed case with Gulshan Police Station against Shafiqur on allegation of knavish Tk 4 lakh through cheque cheat.

Later, the case was transferred to ACC for investigation.
