3 ‘robbers’ held with arms in Cox’s Bazar

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested three suspected robbers along with arms from Madhurchora area in Ukhia upazila here early Sunday.
The arrestees are Anwarul Islam, 28, Nurul Islam Bulu, 30 and Kamal Hossain alias Jasim Uddin, 33, reports UNB.
Tipped off that a gang of robber numbering 10/12 was preparing to commit robbery, a team of Rab-7 conducted the drive around 5:15 am and arrested three of them along with 11 firearms, four sharp weapons and 8 rounds of bullet, said a press release.
