Bus-Truck collision kills 2 in Rangpur

Two people were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Rangpur on Sunday morning around 7am.
The incident took place on Dhaka-Rangpur highway at Islampur area of Pairaband union in Mithapukur upazila of the district.
Identities of them could not be known immediately. The injured men were admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
A Thakurgaon-bound bus collided head-on with a truck coming from opposition in the area, leaving two people dead and three others injured critically, said Mozammel Haque, officer-in-charge of Mithapukur Police Station.
