Dhaka, Ctg passengers get ‘Metro CNG’

‘Metro CNG App’, a ride share for CNG-run auto-rickshaw has been launched in Bangladesh.

Primarily, 200 auto-rickshaws will be run in Dhaka, Chittagong under this app.

Passengers, who are riding private car and motorcycle through app, now will be able to travel their certain destination by Auto-rickshaw with proper fare.

The announcement of launching this ride share came in a press conference on Saturday adding that both of the auto rickshaw drivers and passengers will be benefitted by this app. 

Mia Md Moinuddin, Administrative officer of Metro Transports Solution read out the written statement. Besides, Chairman and CEO of Metro CNG Khnodokar Abu Zafar, Managing Director Saidur Rahman addressed the launching programme.

The announcement adds that, 4o taka fare was fixed for each kilometer of the first two kilometer, 12 taka each for next kilometer and 2 taka per minute for waiting charge.

Registration is available on play store of android mobile phone. SOS button is included in the system for security of Passengers and drivers. They may call 999 in case of any danger.
