BGB DG Abul Hossain withdrawn

Director General (DG) of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Major General Abul Hossain has been withdrawn. But, new DG has not been appointed yet. 

Ministry of Public Administration issued an order to put Abul Hossain in Armed Forces withdrawing from BGB. The ministry issued the order on Wednesday night. 

Seeking anonymity, an official of the ministry of public administration said that Armed forces department sends recommendation to issue order with the consent of Prime Minister. We issue order. We don’t have chance to know that why they recruit or remove from post.

Abul Hossain was appointed as the BGB DG on November 2 in 2016 while he was serving as military secretary to President Md Abdul Hamid.
