No premium category for .bd, .bangla domains

Premium category has been removed from the registration process of .bd and .bangla domains.

Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL), the custodian of the domains, has decided to offer the domains at the same rate of Taka 800 annually.

BTRC will provide the domains on fast come, first served basis, said a press release on Wednesday, reports BSS.

Interested person can apply for it online and make payment to obtain the domain. Registration process is available on BTCL's website: www.btcl.com.bd or ????????.?????. 

Earlier, the annual fee of premium category was Taka 5,000, Taka 15,000 and Taka 25,000 respectively.
