3 killed in bus-microbus collision in Cox’s Bazar

Three people were killed and six others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a microbus in Cox’s Bazar on Saturday.
The accident took place on Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway at Chakaria upazila in the district.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The injured people were admitted to Chakaria Upazila Health Complex and Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.
In this connection, Bakhtiar Uddin Chowdhury, officer-in-charge (OC) of Chakaria Police Station said: “A Cox Bazar-bound bus collided head on with a Chittagong-bound microbus at Aziznagar area at 8am. At that time 3 passengers of the microbus were killed on the spot and six others injured.”
