Question papers leak: Govt asked to form judicial commission

The High Court on Thursday directed the government to from a judicial commission to probe the question papers leak of all examinations including SSC and HSC.

The HC bench of Justice Jubair Hossain Choudhury and Justice Iqbal Kabir passed the order after hearing a writ petition filed by three lawyers including Advocate Ainun Nahar Siddiqa.

The court also issued a rule asking the authorities concerned to explain why their inaction to stop question papers leak would not be declared illegal.

Earlier on February 11, mobile phone operators reduced the bandwidth of mobile internet services for 30 minutes as per the instruction of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to prevent the leak of SSC exam question papers.

On February 4, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid announced Tk 5 lakh bounty for helping catch those involved in question papers leak.
