5 killed as bus hits auto-rickshaw in Faridpur

Five people were killed in a head on collision between a bus and an auto-rickshaw at Tomijuddin intersection of Bhanga upazila in Faridpur on Wednesday morning.
Of them, two were identified as Abul Hossain, 35, driver of the auto-rickshaw and its passenger Khaleda Begum, 25.
In this connection, Miraz Hossain, officer-in-charge of Bhanga Police Station, said: “A passenger bus collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw in the area, leaving five people dead on the spot.”
