Verdict in Rupa murder case Feb 12

A Tangail court has fixed February 12 for delivering its verdict in the sensational Rupa Khatun murder case. 

Abul Mansur Miah, acting judge of Tangail Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal, fixed the date on Monday after concluding the hearing of both sides in the case.

AKM Nasimul Akhtar, Special PP of Tangail Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal confirmed it to Jago News.

Rupa Khatun, a law student, who was raped in a moving bus before being murdered in Tangail on August 25 last year.

A case was filed with Madhupur Police Station against five accused following the murder of Rupa Khatun.

All of the accused are now in jail.
